“Since forming in 2008, Kelowna, BC’s We Are The City has become one of the most exciting and unpredictable forces in the Canadian music scene.”

This band isn’t that small, most people in my area have actually herd one or two of their songs. The genre that they have given themselves are “Progressive Indie-Rock/Experimental”. I for one have not listened to their songs so I decided now would be a good time. A band that has nearly 7 thousand facebook fans must have some good music?

I listened to the first song that played on their facebook site, “Morning Song”. I found this song quiet refreshing actually, for it wasn’t what I had expected to hear. For myself being an ‘Indie-Rock’ fan I have to say I enjoy this band and will be buying their music. This band deserves a good 9/10 due to great rhythmic tunes and the song actually kept my attention unlike some other bands. The only reason I decided not to give the full 10/10 was due to the ending of the song with I didn’t myself enjoy for it went onto a different tune and didn’t flow well with the rest of the song. 

All together I recommend buying their music and checking them out on their facebook page.
